Aging is a non-recycling, inevitable and physiologic process, which affects all systems. The general population of elderly people in the world has been growing rapidly. In addition to this some problems peculiar to those people have occurred. One of the leading problems is care. In the studies elderly people expressed that they preferred to stay at their own houses and be cared. With this reason and the other similar ones home care in the old age has become important gradually. Home care is a service demanded by aged people in their own houses but is not able to be provided by their relatives besides it is a service consisting of many fields such as health, economy and social service and presented by professional groups working in these fields. In our country home care is regarded as a new concept . That's why it is not discussed about adequate substructture it has been stressed that there are still problems on this issue. However in our country aged population has been increasing gradually. That more and more women have been getting involved in working outside their houses, returning to nucleus family, houses not meeting the standard accommodation and the reasons such as economic problems makes it difficult to care for the old people in the family. When the situation is taken into consideration it has been understood that should be concentrated more on studies regarding old people's care.
