Whenever more than %70 of the pituitary gland is effected, the clinical features of pituitary insufficiency develop. Clinical findings of hypopituitarism are linked to loss of its hormones. Before planing and initiating therapy, one has to evalate which hormones are leaking most. In elderly patients symptoms like fatigue or general apathy may cause problems in interpretation. In two cases admitted in geriatrics clinic with hyponatremia empty sella was dianosed and therapy was initiated. Both were discharged for geriatric and endocrinologic ambulatory follow up.
