It is pressumed that in the future the demands for services for this age group will increase in Turkey which is getting older. In this old lady' s case report, who had taken institutional care during the terminal period of lung cancer the interdisciplinary geriatric teamwork including the family physician was evaluated. Today, advanced nursing home models which can provide contemporary geriatric care services, must be planned where these teams can take part. Psychological and social dimensions of the management and care services covering elderly patients and their relatives, must be considered together.
